Brock and Audrey

Brock got to meet his newest cousin today. Well, she is his cousins daughter actually. Like any typical boy, he held her for about 3 minutes and then was bored out of his mind and had to try to be patient as I held her for a LONG time.

Trucks

I will never know what it is about this family and big lifted trucks! Here Jeff and Paige are shopping for lift kits, wheels and rims for their trucks. Oh wait, Paige doesn't have a truck. So they found her one. You can't see it very well but the picture she is holding is a black truck with a huge lift and hot pink flames, her dream truck of course!

Bella Rose Monogram stationary set

I really enjoyed making these. It is a box containing 5 monogramed cards and envelopes. I can't take credit for the idea, since like almost always, splitcoast stampers was my inspiration, I even found the template for the box there, which was amazingly easy to make. All materials are Stampin' Up!, except for the justrite monogram stamper. What a great idea they have with these stampers, check them out here. http://www.justritestampers.com/ I have the "curlz" set with the wooden stamper. They also have a stamper that is self inking, but I wanted to use my SU! ink. There are different fonts and borders and the coolest little alpha set so I was able to make a border that said "from the desk of", it is tiny, good thing it comes with tweezers! Any questions, feel free to ask, I would love to help you make these too.

Introducing..

~Audrey ~
Audrey is my niece Stacey's third child, she has a crazy birth story as she was born in the car, delivered by her proud daddy. My mom, her great grandmother was born in the car as well, maybe it's a family thing. As always I am so proud of Stacey and can't wait to love on Audrey some more. I got to meet her when she was about 4 hours old, she was sleeping peacefully at home.
Enjoy the pictures, more will follow, I promise!
Oh, the facts...

My Hard Working Guy

Lookin' pretty darn fashoinable, too!

Carmel Cocia Anyone?

Tonight, Brock asked if he could have a piece of Carmel Cocia. What? Carmel Cocia, he tells me again. I asked him if that was some of the candy I made this weekend, because I couldn't think of what else it would be, he opened the fridge and pulled out the bag of home-made Almond Roca. Carmel Cocia! I got one of the best little Brock smiles when I told him it was almond roca. Then he saw the fudge and decided to have a piece of that instead!!!

December Make A Child Smile Cards

For about a year now, I have been making cards for the children listed on http://www.makeachildsmile.org Each month three children are featured. These children have serious, sometimes fatal illness' or conditions. There is also an "urgent mail" list. This list contains children who have been featured before on the web site, and are in need of extra mail due to a change in their condition. I ask that you visit Make A Child Smile. They posted a few months ago that traffic has been down on the site, which means mail to the kids has also declined. Cards do not need to be homemade.
These cards are for the three sweet girls ages 2-11 who are featured for December.

Yikes, dig out the Long Johns

It is cold and snowing. It is 17 degrees, with the wind, the "feels like" is 3. Yes 3! That's cold.
Brock is loving the small amount of snow we have despite the cold. He know's you have to take advantage of what you get around here, and that he did!
Nothing like a little "street sledding"Tuffy was kind enough to pose for a picture...
Zoie was not!

Mrs. Percifield & Mrs. Lee

Brock really likes his teachers and wanted to make them personalized name frames. He had 100% creative control. All I did was the work. For Mrs. Lee's we found one we really like on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com it had more of a shabby chic feel with more torn paper. I just don't do shabby chic good. Shabby yes, shabby chic not so good. But I think it turned out very nice.
And for Mrs. Percifield's, Brock picked out paper and colors he liked and away we went. We sure hope they like them!
